
We are pretty much over jetlag, still juggling all this luggage and getting used to keeping track of it, and working through the many technology issues that pop up.
Paris was a blast. We had 6 hours to roam around, and ate as often as possible.
Delhi was fun—we were hit with water balloons and water guns while riding through a night market area on a bicycle rickshaw during Holi (and Indian holiday). The highlight was having a delicious Indian lunch with Manav Lohia of Photosindia.
We spent a night with a lovely family in a farming village near Chandigar, relatives of our new friend and guide, Malagar Singh. On an early morning walk with our host and his wife, we visited their temple. One of the village's leaders requested a photo of Lawrence with them, to be published in their newspaper the next day. So here is our first shot. Excited to see the clipping!
Yesterday we visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Dawn and dusk. Incredibly beautiful, and a fun place to hang out. The people we have met are so friendly and interested in us.
Barbara is a celebrity here in India, with her intriguing blonde hair. She and Jack are invited to parties, and everyone wants to take a photo with her. She is getting used to all this attention!
